Hammond HWC2418U35BK 18U Swing-Out Wall Mount Cabinet, 35 in Deep

The HWC2418U35BK is an 18U swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet for 19-inch equipment, built for IT, telecom and critical-infrastructure installations where floor space is limited but rear access and verified load performance are still required. It is the 24-inch-wide, 35-inch-deep member of the HWC Series, supplied without a door so the enclosure can be specified with the solid, vented or window door of your choice.

Construction is 14-gauge mild steel with a RAL9005 black powder coat finish (black sand textured), a finish the series lists as GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant. The centre section swings out on concealed hinges with a safety pin lock-out for full rear access to cabling and equipment rears, and integrated cable management and ventilation support organised routing and airflow. Fan knockout patterns are provided top and bottom for optional DNMF100AC115 or DNMF100AC230 fans, with multi-size knockouts top, bottom and both sides for conduit and cable entry.

Overall dimensions are 38.31 in x 24.68 in x 34.78 in (973 mm x 627 mm x 883 mm), with 31.50 in (800 mm) of usable mounting height and 32.50 in (826 mm) of usable equipment depth — the maximum equipment depth that still allows the centre section to swing out unimpeded. Overall internal space is 34.21 in (869 mm). Shipping weight is 152 lbs (68.95 kg).

HWC2418U35BK ships with one pair of adjustable tapped 10-32 mounting rails (2x URR rails) and a starter hardware pack with SCREW1032-50 screws. The series is UL2416 listed (UL file E474597) with a 350 lb (158 kg) load rating and seismic rated to 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. It meets PCI DSS requirements with a door installed and is TAA compliant, manufactured in North America.
