The HWC2418U27BK is an 18U enclosed swing-out wall-mount rack cabinet for 19-inch equipment, intended for IT, AV and telecom installations where floor space is limited but rear access and verified structural performance are still required. It ships without a door, so the closure can be specified to suit the site: solid (HWCSD2418UBK), vented (HWCVD2418UBK) or window (HWCWD2418UBK).
Construction is 14-gauge steel with a mild steel body finished in RAL9005 black powder coat (GREENGUARD Gold, TSCA and RoHS compliant). The HWC Series is UL2416 listed (UL file E474597) with a 350 lb (158 kg) rating and is seismic rated to a 200 lb (90.72 kg) dynamic load (Ip = 1.5) per IBC 2018, CBC 2019, NBC 2018, ASCE 7-16 and ASCE 7-10. It is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, and meets PCI DSS requirements when a door is installed.
