The HW483610S16HK is a 48 in tall, 36 in wide and 10 in deep (1,219 x 914 x 254 mm) wallmount enclosure in 316 stainless steel. Its shallow depth and large face make it a fit for wall-hung control and electronic equipment that must be protected in harsh industrial environments, including hose-down and wet areas where corrosion is a serious problem.
The enclosure is formed stainless with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a natural, smooth brushed finish. A formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out, and the door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket. The door is mounted on a stainless steel continuous hinge, removable by pulling the hinge pin, and is secured by a 316 stainless pad lockable handle with a 3 point roller latching system.
The drawing shows a 33.26 x 45.25 in door opening, 30.90 x 44.46 in of clear space on the door, an overall depth of 11.23 in and 0.44 in mounting holes on a 30.00 x 49.25 in pattern. The optional 18P4533 inner panel (45.00 x 33.00 in) mounts on collar studs. Bonding and grounding studs are provided on the door and body.
