Hammond HP350PCGY 3.5" Conduit Type 4X Polycarbonate Hole Plug, Gray

Where a 3-1/2" conduit entry has been abandoned, the HP350PCGY closes the hole with a sealed, non-metallic plug. It is sized for plugged holes of 4.00 in (102 mm) to 4.25 in (108 mm), referenced to 3.5" conduit at 4.125 in, and comes in ANSI 61 Gray to match gray-painted industrial enclosures. It is intended for electrical contractors, OEM panel builders and plant maintenance staff.

The plug and nut are polycarbonate. A closed cell EPDM/neoprene blend gasket sits under the plug head to keep dust, oil and water out of the enclosure. The plug has an external diameter of 4.62 in (117 mm), and the drawing gives a .24 in (5.97 mm) head, a .75 in (19.05 mm) body and an installed depth of .24 in + .75 in + panel wall thickness.

The HP350PCGY works on enclosure walls from 0.06 in (2 mm) to 0.25 in (6 mm) thick (16 gauge to 1/4"). Installation is a one-person job with no tools required, helped by a self centering, anti-rotational design.

The HPN4PC series is a UR/cUR recognized component for use with UL and CSA listed Type 1, 3, 3R, 4 and 4X enclosures. The part is REACH and RoHS compliant and ships at 0.4 lbs (0.18 kg). A RAL7035 Light Gray equivalent is available as HP350PCLG.
