Hammond HP300PCLG 3" Conduit Type 4X Polycarbonate Hole Plug, Light Gray

HP300PCLG is a RAL7035 Light Gray polycarbonate hole plug made to blank off an unused 3" conduit opening in an enclosure wall. It covers plugged holes from 3.50 in (89 mm) to 3.75 in (95 mm), with a trade-size reference of 3" conduit at 3.594 in, so it suits panel shops and field electricians working on light gray RAL7035 cabinets who need a clean, sealed closure where a knockout or conduit entry is no longer used.

The plug and nut are molded from polycarbonate and the plug seats on a closed cell EPDM/neoprene blend gasket that seals the opening against dust, oil and water. Its external diameter is 4.12 in (105 mm). Per the part drawing the head measures .24 in (5.97 mm) and the body .75 in (19.05 mm); the installed depth is given as .24 in + .75 in + the panel wall thickness.

The plug accepts wall thicknesses from 0.06 in (2 mm) to 0.25 in (6 mm), or 16 gauge to 1/4" as the series puts it. A self centering, anti-rotational design lets one person fit it quickly with no tools required.

As part of the HPN4PC series it is a UR/cUR recognized component for use with UL and CSA listed enclosures of Type 1, 3, 3R, 4 and 4X, and it is listed as REACH and RoHS compliant. For ANSI 61 gray panels, order the matching HP300PCGY.
