Hammond EN4SD48368SSR 48x36x8 in 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The EN4SD48368SSR is the 48 in high x 36 in wide x 8 in deep (1,219 x 914 x 203 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 304 stainless steel, supplied with extra quarter turns. It gives integrators and panel shops a tall, wide Type 4X enclosure for electrical and electronic equipment in harsh, industrial environments.

It is built from formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, finished in smooth brushed natural stainless. The formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and the door seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket. Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns and stainless steel hinge pins are used, and a door alignment guide is provided on this 36 in wide size. The door can be removed for modifications, and swing can be reversed using adapter kit EHLLSAK.

Drawing dimensions: door opening 34.41 in x 46.31 in (W x H), door 35.97 in x 47.97 in, clear space available on the door 30.65 in x 43.88 in, and inside depth 8.70 in. Ø 0.50 in wall mounting holes are provided, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included.

The enclosure is supplied without a panel. The optional EP4836 inner panel, 46.20 in (1173 mm) x 34.20 in (869 mm), is required to maintain UL/CSA on sizes over 24 in wide, and a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. It is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. Offered in 304 stainless only; shipping weight 124 lbs (56.25 kg).
