Hammond EN4SD603610S16R 60x36x10-Inch Quarter-Turn 316 Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD603610S16R is a 60 in tall Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 316 stainless steel, measuring 60 in x 36 in x 10 in (1,524 mm x 914 mm x 254 mm). The tall face with a 10 in depth gives room for a large layout of electrical and electronic equipment that must be protected against harsh, industrial environments, in projects that specify 316 stainless.

The enclosure is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The hinged door closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns onto a seamless poured-in place gasket and hangs on hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins. A door alignment guide is provided on this 36 in width, doors are removable and interchangeable, and the swing can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK. The finish is natural stainless steel, smooth and brushed.

The drawing shows a 34.31 in x 58.31 in door opening, a 36.00 in x 59.97 in door and 30.65 in x 58.00 in of clear space available on the door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 in x 58.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. The optional EP6036 inner panel measures 58.20 in x 34.20 in (1478 mm x 869 mm) and mounts on collar studs; at this width an inner panel is required to maintain UL/CSA.

The EN4SD603610S16R is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66. It ships boxed at 150 lbs (68.04 kg). EN4SD603610SSR is the 304 version.
