Hammond EN4SD603612S16R 60x36x12-Inch Quarter-Turn 316 Stainless Enclosure

The EN4SD603612S16R is a 60 in x 36 in x 12 in (1,524 mm x 914 mm x 305 mm) Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure in 316 stainless steel. Combining a 60 in tall face with a 12 in depth, it houses larger or deeper electrical and electronic equipment in harsh, industrial environments where the specification calls for 316 stainless.

The body is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The hinged door is secured by Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns and seals on a seamless poured-in place gasket; hidden hinges use stainless steel hinge pins. Door stiffeners are provided where required, a door alignment guide is supplied at this 36 in width, and adapter kit EHLLSAK reverses the door swing. The enclosure has a natural, smooth brushed stainless finish.

The drawing shows a 34.31 in x 58.31 in door opening, a 36.00 in x 59.97 in door and 30.65 in x 58.00 in of clear space available on the door. Wall mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 34.50 in x 58.50 in centres, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included. Collar studs accept the optional EP6036 inner panel (58.20 in x 34.20 in), which is required at this width to maintain UL/CSA.

Certification is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, with compliance to NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66 (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001). The EN4SD603612S16R ships boxed at 175 lbs (79.38 kg). EN4SD603612SSR is the 304 version.
