Hammond EN4SD36248SS 36x24x8 in 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Wallmount Enclosure

The EN4SD36248SS is a single-door Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure made from 304 stainless steel, measuring 36 in high x 24 in wide x 8 in deep. It is for integrators, electricians and OEMs who need to enclose electrical and/or electronic equipment and protect it from harsh, industrial environments in a tall, wall-hung format.

It is fabricated from formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip on the enclosure excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the door. Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns secure the door, which hangs on stainless steel hinge pins, can be removed for modifications, and can be reversed using adapter kit EHLLSAK.

Drawing figures: door opening 22.49 in x 34.49 in (W x H), door 23.97 in x 35.97 in, clear space on the door 22.00 in x 34.00 in, inside depth 8.70 in, and Ø 0.50 in wall mounting holes. A hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers is included for those holes.

No panel is included; the optional EP3624 inner panel measures 34.20 in x 22.20 in and mounts on the collar studs. The enclosure is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66, and a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements.
