The EN4SD362412S16 is a 36 x 24 x 12 in (914 x 610 x 305 mm) Eclipse Series enclosure in 316 stainless steel for wallmount use. It combines a tall face with 12 in depth, and it is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it against harsh industrial environments where a corrosion-resistant grade is wanted.
Construction is formed 14 gauge 316 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. The door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket, hangs on hidden hinges with stainless steel pins and closes with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns. The finish is natural stainless steel, smooth and brushed.
From the drawing: inside depth 12.70 in, depth including door 12.84 in, door opening 34.49 x 22.49 in, clear space on the door 34.00 x 22.00 in, and 0.50 in rear mounting holes on 34.50 x 22.50 in spacing. The optional EP3624 inner panel (34.20 x 22.20 in) mounts on collar studs, and the supplied hardware kit includes panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall mounting holes.
It carries UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 ratings and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 62 lbs (28.12 kg). The 304 stainless version is EN4SD362412SS.
