Hammond EN4SD30308SS 30x30x8 in 304 Stainless NEMA 4X Wall Enclosure

The EN4SD30308SS is a 304 stainless steel Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure with a square 30 in x 30 in face and 8 in depth (762 x 762 x 203 mm). It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, and its styling with hidden hinges suits high-tech equipment installations.

Construction uses formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out, and a seamless poured-in place gasket seals the single door. The door latches with Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns on stainless steel hinge pins, is removable and interchangeable, and can be reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK. Both cover and enclosure are natural stainless steel with a smooth brushed finish.

From the drawing: door opening 28.49 in x 28.49 in, clear space available on the door 24.65 in x 28.00 in (W x H), and inside depth 8.70 in. Wall mounting is through Ø 0.50 in holes; the enclosure includes a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers.

The enclosure is supplied without a panel. Because it is 30 in wide, the optional EP3030 inner panel (28.20 in x 28.20 in) is required to maintain UL/CSA, and a mounting foot kit is required for UL/CSA external mounting. It is rated UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66, and ships at 65 lbs (29.48 kg). A 316 stainless version is available as EN4SD30308S16.
