Hammond EN4SD362412SS 36x24x12 Type 4X 304 Stainless Wallmount Enclosure

EN4SD362412SS is a 304 stainless steel Eclipse Series wallmount enclosure, 36 in high, 24 in wide and 12 in deep (914 x 610 x 305 mm). The tall body with extra depth suits vertical layouts with deeper components, and like the rest of the series it is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment in harsh industrial environments.

The enclosure is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel. Its seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the door. Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns latch the door, which rides on hidden hinges with stainless steel pins, can be removed for modifications and is reversible with adapter kit EHLLSAK.

Collar studs accept the optional EP3624 inner panel (34.20 x 22.20 in), and the hardware kit provides panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall holes. Bonding and grounding studs are provided on the door and in the enclosure. It is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. Add a mounting foot kit to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 80 lbs (36.29 kg). The 316 version is EN4SD362412S16.
