Hammond EN4SD302412S16 30x24x12 Type 4X 316 Stainless Wallmount Enclosure

For wall-mounted equipment that needs extra depth, the EN4SD302412S16 offers a 30 x 24 x 12 in (762 x 610 x 305 mm) Eclipse Series enclosure in 316 stainless steel. It is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments, and the added depth over the 10 in model gives room for bulkier devices.

The enclosure is formed 14 gauge 316 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip on the body excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and the door seals on a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Hidden hinges with stainless steel pins carry the door, which is closed by Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns. Both cover and enclosure are natural stainless with a smooth brushed finish.

The part drawing lists 12.70 in inside depth, 12.84 in depth including the door, a 28.49 x 22.49 in door opening and 28.00 x 22.00 in of clear space on the door. Rear mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter at 28.50 x 22.50 in spacing. The optional EP3024 inner panel (28.20 x 22.20 in) mounts on collar studs, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall holes is supplied.

Certifications are UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, with compliance to NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66; a mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 72 lbs (32.66 kg). The 304 stainless version is EN4SD302412SS.
