The EN4SD302410S16 is a 30 x 24 x 10 in (762 x 610 x 254 mm) Eclipse Series Type 4X enclosure in 316 stainless steel, built for wallmount applications. It encloses electrical and electronic equipment and protects it against harsh, industrial environments, serving control panel builders, electricians and OEM engineers.
The body is formed 14 gauge 316 stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. A seamless poured-in-place gasket seals the hinged door, which uses hidden hinges, stainless steel hinge pins and Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns. Door stiffeners are provided where required for strength and rigidity. The finish is natural, smooth brushed stainless steel.
Drawing figures: door opening 28.49 in high x 22.49 in wide, inside depth 10.70 in, clear space on the door 28.00 x 22.00 in, and 0.50 in rear mounting holes spaced 28.50 x 22.50 in. The optional EP3024 inner panel (28.20 x 22.20 in) mounts on the collar studs provided, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts and sealing washers for the wall holes is included.
This part is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12, and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 53 lbs (24.04 kg). EN4SD302410SS is the 304 stainless steel version.
