The EN4SD302416SS is the deepest 30 x 24 in Eclipse enclosure: 16 in (406 mm) deep, in 304 stainless steel, for wallmount applications. It suits integrators and OEM engineers who need to house tall equipment, and it is designed to enclose electrical and electronic equipment and protect it in harsh, industrial environments. This size is offered in 304 stainless only; the ordering table lists no 316 version.
The body is formed 14 gauge stainless steel with continuously welded seams ground smooth, a formed lip that excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and a seamless poured-in-place gasket. Hidden hinges with stainless steel hinge pins carry the door, and Type A stainless steel slotted quarter turns latch it. The door can be removed for modifications and reversed with adapter kit EHLLSAK.
The drawing shows 16.70 in of inside depth, 16.84 in depth including the door, a door opening of 28.49 x 22.49 in and 28.00 x 22.00 in of clear space on the door. Rear mounting holes are 0.50 in diameter on 28.50 x 22.50 in spacing. The optional EP3024 inner panel (28.20 x 22.20 in) mounts on collar studs, and a hardware kit with panel nuts and sealing washers for the wall holes is included.
It is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X and 12 and complies with NEMA 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP 66. A mounting foot kit is required to maintain UL/CSA external mounting requirements. Shipping weight is 80 lbs (36.29 kg).
