Built in 304 stainless steel, the EJ643SS is a 6 x 4 x 3 in Type 4X Eclipse Junior enclosure for electrical junction boxes, terminal wiring, instruments, and electric, hydraulic or pneumatic controls. It protects components where equipment may be hosed down or otherwise be very wet, or where corrosion may be a problem.
Dimensions are 6 in H x 4 in W x 3 in D (152 x 102 x 76 mm). A removable 14 gauge galvanized inner panel of 4.88 x 2.88 in (124 x 73 mm) is included, unpainted, and mounts on tapped studs; the drawing calls out a 10-32 thread. Also from the drawing: 3.02 in of usable depth, a 3.25 in door opening width and a 4.16 in door width. The box mounts with 14 gauge welded brackets.

The EJ643SS is UL 508A and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 rated (UL File E65324, CSA LR21001), complies with NEMA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, and RoHS and REACH compliant. It is finished in natural brushed stainless steel and ships boxed at 4 lbs (1.81 kg). For high temperature applications a gasket retainer may be required; refer to the factory.
