Hammond DTS3441CA460LG 20,434 BTU/h 460V Indoor Enclosure Air Conditioner

The DTS3441CA460LG is the 460 V, 50/60 Hz model of the DTS 20,000-25,000 BTU/H indoor air conditioner series. It side mounts on any enclosure surface where high capacity system cooling is required, and fits industrial control panels and enclosures fed from 460 V.

Cooling capacity is 20434 BTU/h (5952 W) at +95/+95 °F (+35/+35 °C). The unit draws just 4.06 A running with a 7 A starting current and 2316 W power consumption over a 414-506 V operating range, and it connects by terminal block. A hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up while minimizing heavy inrush currents.

Closed loop cooling keeps clean enclosure air separate from contaminated ambient air. Unrestricted airflow is 1418 CFM on the internal circuit and 534 CFM on the external circuit, and maximum clearance between the warm inlet and cold outlet reduces hot spot locations. The condenser uses 3 mm fin spacing to protect against strongly contaminated and aggressive ambient air. The R-134a unit is filterless, uses a built-in condensate evaporator, and runs at 81 dB(A). The thermostat is adjustable from +77 to +113 °F (+25 to +45 °C), factory set at +95 °F (+35 °C), and is accessible inside the enclosure; ambient limits are +46 °F (+8 °C) to +131 °F (+55 °C).

Dimensions are 57.20 in (1453 mm) H x 15.80 in (401 mm) W x 16.10 in (409 mm) D, and the DTS3441CA460LG weighs 201.5 lbs (91.4 kg). It has a galvanized sheet steel case in RAL7035 light gray, maintains NEMA 12 / IP 54, and is UL, cUL and CE approved. Self-diagnostics, LED fault indication and door-contact provision are standard, and the gasket, mounting kit, template and drain hose with clamp are included.
