Hammond DTS3641CA230LG 25,181 BTU/h 230V Indoor Enclosure Air Conditioner

The DTS3641CA230LG is a 25,000 BTU/H class indoor air conditioner for 230 V, 50/60 Hz supplies, part of the DTS 20,000-25,000 BTU/H series for side mounting on any enclosure surface where high capacity system cooling is required. It is a fit for large automation, drive and control enclosures where heat loads call for a higher-output unit.

It is rated 25181 BTU/h (7374 W) at +95/+95 °F (+35/+35 °C), with unrestricted airflow of 1546 CFM internal and 659 CFM external. Closed loop cooling ensures clean enclosure air is recirculated without mixing with contaminated ambient air, and maximum clearance between the warm inlet and cold outlet reduces hot spots. A condenser with 3 mm fin spacing protects against strongly contaminated and aggressive ambient air.

Electrical ratings are a 207-253 V operating range, 3205 W power consumption, 16.06 A running current and 32 A starting current, with a terminal block connection. A hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up while minimizing heavy inrush currents. The R-134a system is controlled by a thermostat accessible from inside the enclosure, adjustable from +77 to +113 °F (+25 to +45 °C) and factory set to +95 °F (+35 °C). Ambient limits run from +46 °F (+8 °C) to +131 °F (+55 °C); noise level is 81 dB(A).

The DTS3641CA230LG measures 57.20 in (1453 mm) H x 15.80 in (401 mm) W x 16.10 in (409 mm) D and weighs 226.2 lbs (102.6 kg). The galvanized sheet steel case is RAL7035 light gray. It maintains NEMA 12 / IP 54 with UL, cUL and CE approvals, is filterless with a built-in condensate evaporator, and ships with its gasket, mounting kit, drilling template and condensate drain hose and clamp.
