Hammond DTS3641CA460LG 25,526 BTU/h 460V Indoor Enclosure Air Conditioner

The DTS3641CA460LG is the 460 V, 50/60 Hz, 25,000 BTU/H class model in the DTS 20,000-25,000 BTU/H indoor air conditioner series. Designed for side mounting on any enclosure surface where high capacity system cooling is required, it is aimed at large industrial enclosures on 460 V distribution.

Its rated cooling capacity is 25526 BTU/h (7475 W) at +95/+95 °F (+35/+35 °C), the highest in the four-model series table. Power consumption is 2843 W, with 5.18 A running current and 10 A starting current over a 414-506 V operating range, wired through a terminal block. A hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up while minimizing heavy inrush currents on this large BTU/H unit.

Closed loop cooling recirculates clean enclosure air without mixing with contaminated ambient air. Unrestricted air capacity is 1653 CFM internal and 627 CFM external, with maximum clearance between warm inlet and cold outlet to reduce hot spots, and the condenser's 3 mm fin spacing protects against strongly contaminated and aggressive ambient air. The R-134a thermostat is adjustable from +77 to +113 °F (+25 to +45 °C), factory set to +95 °F (+35 °C), and accessible from inside the enclosure. Ambient air limits are +46 °F (+8 °C) to +131 °F (+55 °C); noise is 81 dB(A).

The DTS3641CA460LG measures 57.20 in (1453 mm) high, 15.80 in (401 mm) wide and 16.10 in (409 mm) deep, weighs 226.2 lbs (102.6 kg), and has a galvanized sheet steel case finished in RAL7035 light gray. It maintains NEMA 12 / IP 54, holds UL, cUL and CE approvals, is filterless with a built-in condensate evaporator, and includes the gasket, mounting kit, drilling template and condensate drain hose and clamp.
