Hammond DTS3441CA230LG 20,840 BTU/h 230V Indoor Enclosure Air Conditioner

The DTS3441CA230LG is a 230 V, 50/60 Hz indoor air conditioner from the DTS 20,000-25,000 BTU/H series, designed for side mounting on any enclosure surface where high capacity system cooling is required. It is suited to large control and automation enclosures in plants and facilities that run a 230 V supply.

This model is rated 20840 BTU/h (6103 W) at +95/+95 °F (+35/+35 °C). Closed loop cooling recirculates clean enclosure air without mixing it with contaminated ambient air, and the layout maximizes clearance between the warm inlet and cold outlet to reduce hot spots. High capacity fans move 1244 CFM internally and 565 CFM externally (unrestricted). The condenser has 3 mm fin spacing for protection against strongly contaminated and aggressive ambient air, and a hot gas bypass valve prevents evaporator freeze up while minimizing heavy inrush currents.

On 230 V it works across 207-253 V, consumes 2674 W, draws 11.82 A running with a 23 A starting current, and connects by terminal block. The R-134a system has a thermostat adjustable from +77 to +113 °F (+25 to +45 °C), factory set to +95 °F (+35 °C), accessible from inside the enclosure. Ambient limits are +46 °F (+8 °C) to +131 °F (+55 °C), and noise is 81 dB(A).

The unit measures 57.20 in (1453 mm) high, 15.80 in (401 mm) wide and 16.10 in (409 mm) deep and weighs 201.5 lbs (91.4 kg). The galvanized sheet steel case is finished in RAL7035 light gray. The DTS3441CA230LG maintains the enclosure's NEMA 12 / IP 54 rating with UL, cUL and CE approvals, and it is filterless with a built-in condensate evaporator.
