Hammond DNFF254LG230 550 CFM Filter Fan Kit, 254 mm 230 VAC Light Gray

The DNFF254LG230 is a hard-wired filtered cooling fan kit built for industrial enclosures, electrical cabinets and rack systems that need high-volume, clean airflow. It pairs a 254 mm (10.00 in) AC fan with an IP5X-rated replaceable filter and a light gray (RAL 7035) filter grille, making it a fit for control panels, automation equipment and networking cabinets where dust and airborne contaminants shorten the life of sensitive electronics.

The front screen and back panel are moulded from flame-retardant ABS plastic, with the grille colour chosen to match Hammond cabinets and enclosures. The fan is rated 230 VAC, 50/60 Hz at 0.14 amps and provides free-flow air delivery of 465/550 CFM, the highest airflow rating in the DNFF Series, with a noise level of 60 dB. A 24 inch (2 foot) wire lead supports permanent wiring, so the kit can be run continuously or switched through an external thermostat instead of a plug-in cord.

The assembly measures 305.00 mm (12.008 in) square by 119.30 mm (4.697 in) deep and mounts into a 279.40 mm (11.000 in) square panel cutout with eight 6.35 mm (0.250 in) mounting holes. Everything needed for installation ships with DNFF254LG230: the fan, plastic filter grille, replaceable filter, metal safety guard and mounting hardware comprising 12 self-tapping 10-32 x 1/2 in panhead screws, 8 black #10-32 x 1/2 in panhead screws, 8 #10 flat washers and 8 #10-32 serrated nuts.

Fan components are UL Recognized to UL 507 and cUL Recognized or CSA Certified to CSA-C22.2 No. 113, and the kit is RoHS and REACH compliant. For routine maintenance, PFF6000 standard filter media or PLFF6000 pleated filter media are available in packs of five, and XPFA Series exhaust filter grilles can be added for balanced enclosure ventilation.
