The CCR22TZPL is a 13U pair of tapped 10-32 combination rack mount rails, supplied as a factory replacement or expansion set for Hammond C2 modular cabinet systems and REFK rack cabinets. It suits IT and AV integrators, industrial control builders, telecom facilities and OEM engineers who need to restore damaged rails, add mounting positions, or set a cabinet up for standard 19-inch rack equipment.
Construction is heavy-duty 10-gauge mild steel with a zinc plated finish, which provides corrosion resistance while improving electrical grounding continuity through the cabinet. The front face carries EIA-310 compliant 10-32 threaded holes with stamped numbered "U" markings, so equipment can be aligned quickly and future expansion planned without measuring.
Each rail in the CCR22TZPL pair measures 22.75 in (578 mm) high, 0.86 in (22 mm) wide and 2.45 in (62 mm) deep, giving 13 rack units of usable mounting height with 22.25 in (565 mm) of EIA spacing on the front face. Shipping weight for the pair is 6 lbs (2.72 kg).
Unlike a plain rack rail, this is a combination profile: it provides front rack mounting and also allows compatible accessories such as shelves, cable management and specialty hardware to be fastened directly to the side of the rail. Note that combination rails may conflict with rack slides because of the accessory rail. Rails install vertically using the included strut mounting hardware; rack mounting hardware is sold separately.
