Hammond CCR42TZPL 24U Tapped 10-32 Combination Rack Rail Pair

The CCR42TZPL is a pair of 24U rack mount rails with 10-32 tapped holes, engineered as factory replacement and expansion rails for Hammond C2 and REFK cabinet systems. It suits IT and AV integrators, industrial control builders, OEM engineers and facilities teams who need to replace a damaged rail, add mounting positions, or convert a cabinet to threaded mounting for standard 19-inch rack equipment.

Rails are built from heavy-duty 10-gauge mild steel with a zinc plated finish, which provides corrosion resistance while improving electrical grounding continuity through the cabinet. The front face carries stamped numbered "U" markings at precision 1U intervals so equipment can be aligned quickly and future expansion planned without measuring.

Each rail in the CCR42TZPL pair measures 42.00 in (1067 mm) high, 0.86 in (22 mm) wide and 2.45 in (62 mm) deep, giving 24U of usable mounting space with 41.50 in (1054 mm) of EIA spacing. Drawing dimensions also show a 21.00 in (533 mm) reference in the top view and a 1.85 in (47 mm) profile dimension on the right side view. Shipping weight is 13 lbs (5.90 kg) for the pair.

The combination rail profile allows front rack mounting while compatible accessories mount directly to the side of the rail, expanding options for shelves, cable management and specialty accessories. Note that combination rails may conflict with rack slides because of the accessory rail. Rails install vertically using the included strut mounting hardware; rack mounting hardware is sold separately.
