Hammond CAGKIT1032-50 50-Piece 10-32 Rack Screw and Cage Nut Kit

CAGKIT1032-50 is a 50-piece rack mounting hardware kit that pairs 10-32 rack screws with matching square-hole cage nuts, so equipment can be installed in square-hole rack rails without sourcing hardware separately. It is aimed at IT, telecommunications, industrial networking and data center teams mounting servers, switches, patch panels, PDUs, UPS systems and AV equipment.

The kit contains 50 of each component: zinc-plated cage nuts and black rack screws with installed nylon washers, supplied in a plastic jar. The screws are 10-32 x 3/4" Quadrex truss head machine screws with a full dog point and a captive flat washer, accepting either a #2R Type-III square recess or a #2 Type-I Phillips cross recess driver. The self-guiding pilot point helps align equipment quickly while reducing cross-threading, and the captive nylon washers help protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates from scratches.

Screws are low carbon steel with a black oxide finish, heat treated to ANSI B18.6.3, with black nylon 6/6 washers measuring 0.429"-0.439" outside diameter and 0.030"-0.040" thick. The cage nuts are austempered spring steel at HRC 38-42 hardness and fit standard 3/8-inch (9.54 mm) square-hole rack rails, making them compatible with Hammond cabinets and most industry-standard square-hole racks.

CAGKIT1032-50 ships at 1 lb (0.45 kg) and is manufactured in North America within an ISO 9001 certified facility.
