Hammond CAGKIT1032-100 100-Pack 10-32 Rack Screw & Cage Nut Kit

CAGKIT1032-100 is a 100-piece rack mounting hardware kit that pairs 100 black 10-32 rack screws with 100 zinc-plated cage nuts, giving IT integrators, AV installers, electricians and facilities teams everything needed to mount equipment in square-hole rack rails. Because the screws and nuts are supplied in matching quantities, there is no need to order the two components separately.

The screws are 10-32 x 3/4" Quadrex truss head machine screws with a full dog point and a captive flat washer, made from low carbon steel with a black oxide finish and heat treated to ANSI B18.6.3. The Quadrex head accepts either a #2R Type-III square recess or a #2 Type-I Phillips cross recess driver. Captive washers are black Nylon 6/6, 0.429"-0.439" outside diameter and 0.030"-0.040" thick, helping protect painted rack rails and equipment faceplates from scratches. The self-guiding pilot point helps align equipment quickly while reducing cross-threading. Cage nuts are zinc plated austempered spring steel, heat treated to HRC 38-42, and fit standard 3/8-inch (9.54 mm) square-hole rack rails, making them compatible with Hammond cabinets and most industry-standard square-hole racks.

Hardware in this 100-of-each kit ships in a plastic jar, which keeps the parts together for service vehicles, contractor kits and staged data center deployments. Shipping weight is 2 lbs (0.91 kg).
