Hammond C2F197031BK1 40U 23in Wide Open Frame Cabinet, Rails Sold Separately

The C2F197031BK1 is a 40U open frame cabinet body from the C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, supplied as a frame only with no mounting rails installed. It is intended for integrators and engineers who want to build a cabinet from selected frames, rails, panels, doors and accessories rather than buy a fixed configuration, for AV, telecom, lab, test and general equipment installations.

Construction is a 14-gauge steel welded assembly finished in RAL9005 Black textured powder coat. Across the C2 Series, frames use 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets with 16-gauge doors and panels and are rated for a 1500 lb load, with grounding studs on the frame, doors and panels for bonding. The series is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, and this part is made in Canada, USMCA compliant, and RoHS and REACH compliant.

Nominal size for this part is 77.31 in x 23.00 in x 31.50 in (1,964 mm x 584 mm x 800 mm), with the series ordering table listing overall height as 78.16 in (1985 mm). Mounting rails for 19 in equipment are ordered separately: CCR70TZPL for tapped 10-32 rails or CPR70SZPL for square-hole rails, each supplied in pairs. The C-channel struts allow infinite-depth rail adjustment. The base of the C2F197031BK1 provides 5/16-18 leveling foot points (four leveling feet are included with the series), 1/4-20 caster hardware points for optional caster sets, and 0.50 in (13 mm) lagging points for floor anchoring. Top and bottom openings accept interchangeable solid, vented, fan or cable-entry panels.
