Hammond C2F197031LG1 40U 31.5 in Deep Open Frame Cabinet, Light Gray

C2F197031LG1 is a 40U open frame cabinet from the C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, supplied in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coat. It is the bare welded frame — mounting rails are not included — so AV integrators, telecom and lab technicians, OEM engineers and facilities teams can specify exactly the rails, panels, doors and accessories a project needs.

The frame is a 14-gauge steel welded assembly. Within the C2 platform, the cabinet frame uses 14-gauge steel with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels, rated for a 1500 lb load capacity, and grounding studs are provided on frame, doors and panels for bonding. Rail depth adjustment is infinite thanks to C-channel struts, and interchangeable top and bottom panels (solid, vented, fan or cable entry) let you tune airflow and cable routing.

Overall size is 77.31 in x 23 in x 31.5 in (1,964 mm x 584 mm x 800 mm), with the series ordering table listing overall height as 78.16 in (1985 mm). Usable 19 in mounting height is 70.06 in (1780 mm) for 40U, with 29.50 in (749 mm) usable mounting depth (29.84 in / 758 mm usable depth on the drawing). Shipping weight is 120 lbs (54.43 kg).

The base is prepared for installation: four leveling feet are included with the C2 system (5/16-18 thread), caster hardware points use 1/4-20 thread for optional casters, and 0.50 in (13 mm) lagging points allow floor anchoring. Pair C2F197031LG1 with CCR70TZPL tapped 10-32 rail pairs or CPR70SZPL square-hole rail pairs, plus C2 accessories such as shelves, PDUs, cable management and baying kits.
