Hammond C2F197036LG1 40U Open Frame Cabinet, 36 in Deep, Light Gray

The C2F197036LG1 is a 40U open cabinet frame from the C2 Series Modular Rack Cabinet System, finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured paint. It is the starting point for a built-to-order cabinet: the frame ships without mounting rails, doors or panels, so integrators and OEM engineers can select the rails, top and bottom panels, doors and accessories the installation actually needs. It suits AV, telecom, lab, test and measurement, and industrial or automation equipment builds.

Construction is a 14-gauge steel welded assembly. Across the C2 Series, frames use 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets with 16-gauge doors and panels and are rated for a 1500 lb load capacity, with grounding studs on the frame, doors and panels for bonding. The series uses infinite-depth rail adjustment via C-channel struts, so equipment mounting depth is not limited to fixed positions.

This frame measures 77.31 in x 23 in x 36 in (1,964 mm x 584 mm x 914 mm); the series ordering table lists overall height as 78.16 in (1985 mm) with the same 23.00 in width and 36.00 in depth. Usable 19 in mounting height is 70.06 in (1780 mm) over 40U, with usable depth of 34.00 in (864 mm) shown as 34.34 in (872 mm) on the drawing. Shipping weight is 130 lbs (58.97 kg).

Four leveling feet are included (5/16-18 thread), with 1/4-20 caster hardware provisions and Ø.50 in (13 mm) lagging points in the base for bolt-down installations. Top and bottom openings support cable entry and airflow panels. Pair C2F197036LG1 with CCR70TZPL tapped 10-32 rail pairs or CPR70SZPL square hole rail pairs.
