Hammond C2F197023LG1 40U Open Frame Cabinet, Light Gray, 23.6 in Deep

The C2F197023LG1 is a 40U open cabinet frame from the C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coat. It is the structural starting point for AV, telecom, lab and general equipment installations where the integrator selects the mounting rails, panels, doors and accessories needed for the job. This part is supplied as a frame only — no mounting rails are included.

Construction is a 14-gauge steel welded assembly, part of a platform that uses 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels and is rated for a 1500 lb load capacity. Grounding studs on the frame, doors and panels support bonding, and the textured powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

Overall size is 77.31 in x 23 in x 23.63 in (1,964 mm x 584 mm x 600 mm), with the series ordering table listing overall dimensions of 78.16 in high x 23.00 in wide x 23.62 in deep. Usable mounting height is 70.06 in (1780 mm), equal to 40U, with 21.63 in (549 mm) of usable mounting depth and 21.97 in (558 mm) of usable depth shown on the drawing. Shipping weight is 105 lbs (47.63 kg).

Rails are ordered separately to match the equipment: CCR70TZPL for tapped 10-32 19-inch rails or CPR70SZPL for square hole rails, both supplied in pairs. Infinite-depth rail adjustment using C-channel struts allows the rails to be positioned to suit the load. Four leveling feet (5/16-18 thread) are included with the platform, with 1/4-20 caster hardware points and Ø.50 in lagging points on the base for optional casters or floor anchoring. Top and bottom openings allow cable entry and airflow panels to be added. C2F197023LG1 is TAA compliant and manufactured in North America.
