Hammond C2F196336LG1 36U Modular Cabinet Frame, Light Gray, 1500 lb

The C2F196336LG1 is a 36U open cabinet frame from the C2 Series modular rack cabinet system, finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coat. It is the structural starting point for AV, telecom, lab and general equipment installations where the integrator selects the mounting rails, panels, doors and accessories needed for the job. Mounting rails are not included with this frame.

Construction is a welded 14-gauge steel assembly. Across the C2 platform, the cabinet frame uses 14-gauge steel with 12-gauge reinforced corner brackets and 16-gauge doors and panels for a 1500 lb load capacity, with grounding studs on the frame, doors and panels to support bonding. The system is TAA-compliant and manufactured in North America, and the textured powder coat finish is GREENGUARD, TSCA and RoHS compliant.

This 36U size measures 71.16 in (1807 mm) high x 23.00 in (584 mm) wide x 36.00 in (914 mm) deep per the series ordering table, with a frame height of 70.31 in (1786 mm) shown on the drawing. Usable mounting height is 63.06 in (1602 mm) and usable mounting depth is 34.00 in (864 mm), with 34.34 in (872 mm) of usable depth noted on the drawing. Shipping weight is 120 lbs (54.43 kg).

For 19-inch equipment, add a pair of 63 in rails: CCR63TZPL tapped 10-32 or CPR63SZPL square hole. C2 rails use C-channel struts for infinite-depth adjustment, so rail planes can be set to suit the equipment. The C2F196336LG1 frame includes four leveling feet with 5/16-18 threads, provides 1/4-20 caster hardware points for optional casters, and has 0.50 in (13 mm) lagging points for floor anchoring.
