Hammond ACE202412LG 20 x 24 x 12 in Aluminum Command Enclosure, Type 12

The ACE202412LG is the largest enclosure in the ACE Series: 20 in high, 24 in wide and 12 in deep. It offers the maximum front panel area and the greatest internal depth in the range, for operator stations that combine many O/I devices with larger internal equipment. Like the rest of the series it is designed for use with suspension systems and for indoor environments where dirt, dust, oil and water may be present.

The body and door are formed from 0.081" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum; seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The door front panel is 3mm aluminum, easily machined to mount O/I devices over the full front, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.

Access to the interior is through a reversible rear door with slotted quarter turn fasteners, with zinc diecast latches and hinges in black epoxy finish. The part drawing shows a rear door opening of 21.56 x 17.56 in, and the door has provisions for the optional ACEP2024 panel. A bonding stud on the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure are provided, and vertical aluminum profiles on each side make the enclosure easier to rotate and position.

The ACE202412LG measures 20.00 in (508 mm) high, 24.00 in (610 mm) wide and 12.00 in (305 mm) deep, with a shipping weight of 27 lbs (12.25 kg). A heavy duty reinforcing plate is included, and the optional Tara Plus (TPSS) or 50/80 (HDSS) suspension systems are recommended. It is powder coated RAL 7035 light gray, UL 508A Type 12 and cUL Type 12 (File E65324), compliant with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, and RoHS and REACH compliant.
