Hammond ACE20248LG 20 x 24 x 8 in Aluminum Command Enclosure, Type 12

The ACE20248LG is a 20 x 24 in aluminum command enclosure at 8 in deep, a middle depth in the 20 x 24 range that balances front panel area with room for deeper operator devices and wiring. It is designed for use with suspension systems and protects electronic controls, instruments and components in indoor environments where dirt, dust, oil and water may be present.

The body and door are formed from 0.081" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and the 3mm aluminum door front panel is easily machined to mount O/I devices across its full front.

A reversible rear door with slotted quarter turn fasteners gives internal access; latches and hinges are zinc diecast in black epoxy finish, and the door has provisions for the optional ACEP2024 panel. The door has a bonding stud and the enclosure a grounding stud. Vertical aluminum side profiles ease rotation, and a heavy duty reinforcing plate is included for coupling to the optional Tara Plus (TPSS) or 50/80 (HDSS) suspension systems.

The ACE20248LG is finished in RAL 7035 light gray powder coating, rated UL 508A Type 12 and cUL Type 12 (File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
