Hammond ACE20246LG 20 x 24 x 6 in Aluminum Command Enclosure, Type 12

The ACE20246LG pairs the largest ACE front, 20 x 24 in, with the shallowest 6 in depth. That combination gives the most front panel area for operator interface devices in a slim housing, and it is designed for use with suspension systems on indoor machinery exposed to dirt, dust, oil and water.

The enclosure body and door are 0.081" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with continuously welded seams ground smooth and a formed lip to exclude flowing liquids and contaminants. Its 3mm aluminum front panel is easily machined for pushbuttons, displays and other O/I devices, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.

Internal access is through a reversible rear door held by slotted quarter turn fasteners, with zinc diecast latches and hinges in black epoxy finish. The drawing shows a rear door opening of 21.56 x 17.56 in, and the door has provisions for the optional ACEP2024 panel. A bonding stud on the door and grounding stud in the enclosure are fitted, and vertical aluminum profiles on each side make the unit easier to rotate.

The ACE20246LG measures 20.00 in (508 mm) high, 24.00 in (610 mm) wide and 6.00 in (152 mm) deep, with a shipping weight of 21 lbs (9.53 kg). A heavy duty reinforcing plate is included and the optional Tara Plus (TPSS) or 50/80 (HDSS) suspension systems are recommended. It is powder coated RAL 7035 light gray, rated UL 508A Type 12 and cUL Type 12 (File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
