Hammond ACE16208LG 16 x 20 x 8 in Aluminum Command Enclosure, Type 12

The ACE16208LG is a 16 in high, 20 in wide aluminum command enclosure with 8 in of depth, giving more internal room than the 6 in version for deeper operator devices and wiring. It is built for use with suspension systems and encloses electronic controls, instruments and components indoors where dirt, dust, oil and water may be present.

The body and door are formed from 0.081" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum; seams are continuously welded and ground smooth, and a formed lip keeps flowing liquids and contaminants out. The full front is a 3mm aluminum panel that is easily machined to mount O/I devices, and the smooth flush surfaces suit high tech equipment. Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.

Access is from the back through a reversible rear door with slotted quarter turn fasteners; latches and hinges are zinc diecast with a black epoxy finish, and the door has provisions for the optional ACEP1620 panel. Bonding and grounding studs are fitted, vertical aluminum side profiles aid rotation, and a heavy duty reinforcing plate is included for coupling to the optional Tara Plus (TPSS) or 50/80 (HDSS) suspension systems.

Finished in RAL 7035 light gray powder coating, the ACE16208LG is UL 508A Type 12 and cUL Type 12 (File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
