Hammond ACE162010LG 16 x 20 x 10 in Aluminum Command Enclosure, Type 12

The ACE162010LG is the deepest 16 x 20 in model in the ACE Series, at 10 in deep. The extra depth makes room for operator devices with long bodies, stacked contact blocks or internal components behind a 16 x 20 in front, while keeping the suspension-mount format. It is designed to enclose electronic controls, instruments and components in indoor environments where dirt, dust, oil and water may be present.

The body and door are formed from 0.081" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The full-front 3mm aluminum panel is easily machined to mount O/I devices, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.

A reversible rear door with slotted quarter turn fasteners provides access; latches and hinges are zinc diecast with a black epoxy finish. The drawing shows a rear door opening of 17.56 x 13.56 in, and the door has provisions for the optional ACEP1620 panel. A bonding stud is provided on the door and a grounding stud is installed in the enclosure. Vertical aluminum profiles on each side make it easier to rotate and manipulate.

Dimensions are 16.00 in (406 mm) high, 20.00 in (508 mm) wide and 10.00 in (254 mm) deep, and the shipping weight is 19 lbs (8.62 kg). A heavy duty reinforcing plate is included; fastening with the optional Tara Plus (TPSS) or 50/80 (HDSS) suspension systems is recommended. Finished in RAL 7035 light gray powder coating, the ACE162010LG is UL 508A Type 12 and cUL Type 12 (File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
