Hammond ACE12126LG 12 x 12 x 6 in Aluminum Command Enclosure, Type 12

The ACE12126LG is a 12 x 12 x 6 in aluminum command enclosure, the smallest size in the ACE Series. It is designed for use with suspension systems and encloses electronic controls, instruments and components in indoor environments where dirt, dust, oil and water may be present, giving machine builders a compact operator interface station.

The body and door are formed from 0.081" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth, and a formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants. The 3mm aluminum front panel gives the full front for operator devices and is easily machined. Access is through a reversible rear door secured with slotted quarter turn fasteners on zinc diecast hinges with black epoxy finish, and the rear door has provisions for the optional ACEP1212 panel. Oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, a bonding stud is fitted to the door and a grounding stud in the enclosure, and vertical aluminum profiles on each side make the unit easier to rotate and position.

The enclosure is 12.00 in (305 mm) high, 12.00 in (305 mm) wide and 6.00 in (152 mm) deep, with a rear door opening of about 9.56 x 9.56 in shown on the drawing, and ships at 12 lbs (5.44 kg). A heavy duty coupling reinforcing plate is included, and fastening with the optional Tara Plus (TPSS) or 50/80 (HDSS) suspension systems is recommended. Enclosure, side extrusions and front panel are powder coated RAL 7035 light gray.

The ACE12126LG is UL 508A Type 12 and cUL Type 12 (UL File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
