Hammond ACE20208LG 20 x 20 x 8 in Aluminum Command Enclosure, Type 12

The ACE20208LG is the square-format member of the ACE Series: 20 in high, 20 in wide and 8 in deep. The square front offers equal height and width for operator interface devices, and the enclosure is designed for use with suspension systems in indoor environments where dirt, dust, oil and water may be present.

Body and door are 0.081" Type 5052 H-32 aluminum with smooth, continuously welded seams ground smooth. A formed lip excludes flowing liquids and contaminants, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured. The 3mm aluminum door front panel provides full front mounting space and is easily machined for O/I devices.

A reversible rear door, secured by slotted quarter turn fasteners with zinc diecast latches and hinges in black epoxy finish, provides access to the interior; the drawing shows a 17.56 x 17.56 in door opening. The door has provisions for the optional ACEP2020 panel, which is specific to this size. The door carries a bonding stud and the enclosure a grounding stud, and vertical aluminum profiles on each side help rotate and position the unit.

Measuring 20.00 in (508 mm) high by 20.00 in (508 mm) wide by 8.00 in (203 mm) deep, it ships at 19 lbs (8.62 kg). A heavy duty reinforcing plate is included, and the optional Tara Plus (TPSS) or 50/80 (HDSS) suspension systems are recommended for fastening. The ACE20208LG is powder coated RAL 7035 light gray, rated UL 508A Type 12 and cUL Type 12 (File E65324), complies with NEMA Type 12 and 13 and IEC 60529 IP54, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
