Hammond 2CSBX264818 48" Stainless Dual Access Base, Four Doors

The 2CSBX264818 is a 48 inch, dual access base unit in 304 stainless steel for the Series 2000 Modular Console System. With two outside hinged doors on the front and two on the back, it opens a long Type 4X rated console section to service from either side for panel mounted or rack mounted equipment.

The drawing lists each door at 23.76 in wide by 25.50 in high, a 45.42 x 23.42 in door opening on each face and 19.13 x 23.43 in of clear space available on the doors. Door profiles are pre-punched for mounting options and add strength. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches are standard, with tamper resistant and locking latches offered as options.

Enclosure dimensions are 26.00 in H x 48.00 in W x 16.50 in D (660 x 1219 x 419 mm), nominal 26 x 48 x 18, with 17.92 in inside depth. Construction is formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams, stainless steel hardware and a natural smooth brushed finish. The top is open for a base cover or other console components, and the bottom is closed with a gland plate installed from inside.

The unit is rated UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66, and conforms to EIA RS-310-E. The 2CSBX264818 ships on a skid at 146 lbs (66.22 kg).
