Hammond 2CSBX262418 24" Stainless Dual Access Console Base

The 2CSBX262418 combines dual access with 304 stainless steel in a 24 inch Series 2000 base unit. With doors on both the front and the back, it lets technicians reach panel mounted or rack mounted equipment from either side of a console, while the stainless construction adds Type 4X to its ratings.

Body and doors are formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel with smooth continuously welded seams, a natural smooth brushed finish and stainless steel hardware. Each door on this 24 inch width can be hinged from either side and is secured with slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches. The drawing shows each door at 23.81 in wide by 25.50 in high, a 21.42 x 23.42 in door opening, and 19.13 x 23.43 in of clear space available on each door.

Enclosure dimensions are 26.00 in H x 24.00 in W x 16.50 in D (660 x 610 x 419 mm), with a 17.90 in inside depth; the listed nominal size is 26 x 24 x 18. The top is open to accept other Series 2000 components, and the bottom is closed with a gland plate installed from inside.

The 2CSBX262418 is rated UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12 and CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13, complies with IEC 60529 IP66 and conforms to EIA RS-310-E. A bonding screw on the door and ground studs on both body sides are provided. It ships on a skid at 85 lbs (38.56 kg).
