Hammond 2CSBX263618 36" Stainless Dual Access Console Base, Type 4X

The 2CSBX263618 is a 36 inch dual access base unit in 304 stainless steel for the Series 2000 Modular Console System. It is a good match for consoles that must be serviced from both sides and that sit in areas calling for Type 4X protection, housing panel mounted or rack mounted equipment alongside other bases, terminals, desks or turrets.

A single solid door is fitted to the front and another to the back, each able to be hinged from either side on this width. The drawing shows the door at 35.81 in wide by 25.50 in high, with a 33.42 x 23.42 in door opening and 31.13 x 23.43 in of clear space available on each door. Slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches secure the doors, and oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured.

Dimensions are 26.00 in H x 36.00 in W x 16.50 in D (660 x 914 x 419 mm), nominal 26 x 36 x 18, with a 17.90 in inside depth. The formed 14 gauge 304 stainless steel body is continuously welded, with a natural smooth brushed finish and stainless steel hardware. The top is open and the bottom is closed with a removable access panel.

Listed ratings are UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, CSA Type 3R, 4, 4X, 12, 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, with EIA RS-310-E conformance. The 2CSBX263618 ships boxed at 122 lbs (55.34 kg).
