Hammond 2CLB263618 36" Single Access Console Base, Gray Steel

Sized for wider operator stations, the 2CLB263618 is the 36 inch single access base unit in the Series 2000 Modular Console System. It suits electricians, OEM builders and systems integrators laying out a console that mixes panel mounted controls or rack mounted gear, typically paired with another base, a terminal, a desk or a turret.

Construction is formed 14 gauge steel for both the body and the door, with smooth continuously welded seams and body stiffeners where required. The finish is RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating. A formed lip helps exclude flowing liquids and contaminants, oil resistant gaskets are permanently secured, and slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches hold the door closed.

This width uses one front door that can be hinged from either side. Overall size is 26.00 in H x 36.00 in W x 17.30 in D (660 x 914 x 439 mm). Per the drawing the door is 35.81 in wide by 25.50 in high, the door opening is 33.56 x 23.42 in, and 30.63 x 23.23 in of clear space is available on the door. The top is open, the sides and back are solid, and the bottom is closed with a removable access panel and a gland plate installed from inside.

Ratings include UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 12, CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, 13 and IEC 60529 IP66, with EIA RS-310-E conformance. The 2CLB263618 ships boxed at 110 lbs (49.90 kg).
