Hammond 2CLB262418 24" Single Access Console Base, Light Gray Steel

The 2CLB262418 is a 24 inch wide, single access base unit from the Series 2000 Modular Console System. It is built for panel builders, OEM engineers and integrators who need a sealed, floor-level console section that can take panel mounted or rack mounted equipment and combine with another base, terminal, desk or turret.

The body and door are formed from 14 gauge steel with smooth, continuously welded seams, finished in RAL 7035 light gray textured powder coating. Access is through one solid front door, while the sides and back are solid, the top is open and the bottom is closed with a removable access panel. On this 24 inch width the door can be hinged from either side, and it is secured by slotted quarter turn oil-tight latches with oil resistant gaskets permanently secured.

Enclosure dimensions are 26.00 in H x 24.00 in W x 17.30 in D (660 x 610 x 439 mm). The drawing shows a 25.50 in high door, a door opening of 21.56 x 23.42 in and 18.63 x 23.23 in of clear space available on the door for mounting devices. Inside depth is 18.01 in.

A bonding screw is provided on the door and a ground stud on each side of the body; welded CD studs are provided for mounting and a bottom gland plate is installed from inside. The unit carries UL 508A Type 3R, 4, 12, CSA Type 3R, 4, 12, 13 and IEC 60529 IP66 ratings and conforms to EIA RS-310-E. Shipping weight is 85 lbs (38.56 kg), boxed.
