Hammond 1650PAP 60W 6.6K Ohm Potted Push-Pull Transformer, 12in Leads

The 1650PAP is a 60 watt push-pull hi-fi output transformer in a potted steel case. Its 6600 ohm centre-tapped primary is rated at 200 mA DC per side, and the secondary provides 4, 8 and 16 ohm outputs for the loudspeaker.

Suggested tube types are 6L6GC, 807, 5881, EL34, 6146B, 6550B and KT88. It includes 40% screen taps for Ultra-Linear operation if desired; typical applications are push-pull triode, Ultra-Linear pentode, pentode and tetrode connected audio output.

Construction is a drawn steel case, completely potted in epoxy and finished in black powder paint to match the 300P series potted power transformers. The drawing describes an open style with minimum 12" long primary and secondary leads, with 1/4-20 UNC inserts (x 4) for mounting. Series table dimensions are A 3.31 in (84 mm), B 3.88 in (99 mm), C 4.25 in (108 mm), D 2.50 in (64 mm), E 3.00 in (76 mm) and F 1.50 in (38 mm), with G listed as 1/4-20 x 0.5" deep inserts. The table weight is 10 lbs and the shipping weight 12 lbs.

Rated response is 30 Hz to 30 kHz at full rated power, +/- 1 dB max. (ref. 1 kHz). Typical 60 Hz drawing values include 71.34 ohms (Blue-Red) and 80.42 ohms (Red-Brown) primary DCR, 390 H primary inductance with 185 kOhm impedance, 8.60 mH leakage inductance, 2000 Vrms dielectric strength and a -40 to 105 C temperature range. The 1650PAP is made in Canada and RoHS and REACH compliant.
