Hammond 1650RAP 100W 5K Ohm Potted Push-Pull Transformer, 12in Leads

The 1650RAP is a 100 watt push-pull hi-fi output transformer and one of the two 100 W models in the 1650P potted series. It has a 5000 ohm centre-tapped primary rated at 317 mA DC per side and a secondary with 4, 8 and 16 ohm outputs.

Suggested tube types are 807, 5881, EL34, 6146B, 6550B and KT88. The transformer includes 40% screen taps for Ultra-Linear operation if desired, and typical applications are push-pull triode, Ultra-Linear pentode, pentode and tetrode connected audio output.

It is enclosed in a drawn steel case, completely potted in epoxy and finished in black powder paint to match the 300P series potted power transformers. The drawing describes an open style with minimum 12" long primary and secondary leads, and 1/4-20 UNC threads (x 4) toleranced per ASME B1.1-2003. Series table dimensions are A 4.25 in (108 mm), B 5.00 in (127 mm), C 4.50 in (114 mm), D 3.38 in (86 mm), E 4.25 in (108 mm) and F 4.50 in (114 mm), with G listed as 1/4-20 x 0.5" deep inserts. The table weight is 13 lbs and the shipping weight 18 lbs.

Rated response is 30 Hz to 30 kHz at full rated power, +/- 1 dB max. (ref. 1 kHz). Typical 60 Hz values: 47.43 ohms (Blue-Red) and 54.65 ohms (Red-Brown) primary DCR, 225 H primary inductance with 99 kOhm impedance, 8.72 mH leakage inductance, a 3535 VDC dielectric strength and a -40 to 105 C temperature range. The 1650RAP is RoHS and REACH compliant.
