The 1650NA is a 60 watt (RMS) hi-fi output transformer for push-pull and push-pull parallel stages running 2 or 4 output tubes. It has a 4,300 ohm centre-tapped primary rated at 318 mA DC per side and an easy-wire secondary tapped for 4, 8 or 16 ohms.
Suggested tube types are 6L6GC, 807, 5881, EL34, 6146B, 6550B and KT88. Typical applications include triode, Ultra-Linear pentode, pentode and tetrode connected push-pull output, and the unit includes 40% screen taps for Ultra-Linear operation if desired.
The drawing specifies a frequency response of 30 Hz to 30 kHz (+/- 1 dB max., ref. 1 kHz) minimum. Typical 60 Hz data lists 37.19 ohms (Blue-Red) and 42.17 ohms (Red-Brown) primary DCR, 85.5 H primary inductance with 40.6 kOhm impedance and 7.20 mH leakage inductance; secondary DCR is 0.244, 0.377 and 0.490 ohm. Dielectric strength is 2000 Vrms and the temperature range -40 to 105 C.
The 1650NA is enclosed (shielded) with 4 slot, above chassis Type "X" mounting, plastic coil forms and insulated flexible leads of 8" minimum. Dimensions are A 3.13 in (80 mm), B 4.25 in (108 mm), C 3.81 in (97 mm), D 2.50 in (64 mm) and E 2.94 in (75 mm), weight 8 lbs. Made in Canada; RoHS and REACH compliant.
