The 1597DIN3MH53 is an Italtronic DIN 3 enclosure in the 1597DM Series with an open top and open terminals on both sides. The 53 mm wide housing suits PCB assemblies and DIN rail mounted electronics that need terminal access and a top opening for a gray or clear cover.
The housing is RAL7035 light grey PPO rated UL94 V-0. Snap closures eliminate assembly hardware, and the integrated DIN rail mounting clip fits standard 35mm DIN rail. Base, cover and DIN clip are included with the purchased enclosure.
Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 2.09 in x 2.28 in (90 mm x 53 mm x 58 mm), with a shipping weight of 0.08 lbs (0.04 kg). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.
The drawing lists top covers 1597D3MPH (gray), 1597D3MPRH (gray with inlay) and 1597D3MPRTPC (clear with inlay), which are not included, plus terminal covers 1597D3MTC, 1597D3MTC6, 1597D3MTCKO, 1597D3MBC and 1597D3MTCP, the 1597D4MADP bread board and the 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats. Some chemicals can damage or weaken plastic, so review the Chemical Resistance Statement before cleaning or machining.
