Hammond 1597DIN2MH53 DIN 2 Open Top and Terminals Rail Enclosure

The 1597DIN2MH53 is an Italtronic DIN 2 enclosure in the 1597DM Series with an open top and open terminals on both sides. The 36 mm wide housing is built for PCBs and DIN rail mounted electronics that need terminal access and a top opening for a cover of your choice.

It is made of RAL7035 light grey PPO with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. Snap closures allow tool-free assembly with no hardware, and the integrated DIN rail mounting clip fits standard 35mm DIN rail. The purchased enclosure includes base, cover and DIN clip.

Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 1.42 in x 2.28 in (90 mm x 36 mm x 58 mm), and shipping weight is 0.07 lbs (0.03 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The drawing lists three top covers for the open top (not included): 1597D2MPH gray, 1597D2MPRH gray with inlay and 1597D2MPRTPC clear with inlay. Terminal covers 1597D2MTC, 1597D2MTC6, 1597D2MTCKO and 1597D2MBC, the 1597D4MADP bread board and the 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip are also listed. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
