Hammond 1597DIN1MH53 DIN 1 Open Top and Terminals Rail Enclosure

The 1597DIN1MH53 is an Italtronic DIN 1 enclosure in the 1597DM Series with an open top and open terminals on both sides. At 18 mm wide it is the slimmest size in the range, suited to single-module PCB designs where terminals and the top face need to be accessible.

The manufacturer short description is "DIN1, OPEN TOP, OPEN TERMINALS", matching the series ordering table features "Open Top, Open Terminals". The base and cover are PPO in RAL7035 light grey with a UL94 V-0 flame rating, and snap closures mean no assembly hardware is required. The integrated DIN rail clip fits standard 35mm DIN rail, and the purchased enclosure includes base, cover and DIN clip.

Nominal size is 3.54 in x 0.71 in x 2.29 in (90 mm x 18 mm x 58 mm) with a shipping weight of 0.05 lbs (0.02 kg). The part is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The open top accepts the 1597DIN1MPTPC clear top panel cover, which is not included. Other accessories on the drawing are the 1597D4MADP bread board and the 1597DINCLIP1M DIN clip for 1M with spring. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
