Hammond 1597DIN2MC53 DIN 2 Closed Top Rail Enclosure, 36 mm Wide

The 1597DIN2MC53 is an Italtronic DIN 2 enclosure in the 1597DM Series with a closed top and closed terminals on both sides. At 36 mm wide it houses printed circuit boards, terminal blocks and other DIN rail mounted electronics where a fully closed face is wanted.

Base and cover are PPO in RAL7035 light grey, rated UL94 V-0. The enclosure snaps together with no hardware and mounts to a standard 35mm DIN rail through its integrated clip. The purchased enclosure includes base, cover and DIN clip.

Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 1.42 in x 2.28 in (90 mm x 36 mm x 58 mm), with a shipping weight of 0.08 lbs (0.04 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

Accessories listed on the 1597DIN2MC53 drawing are the DIN 2 terminal covers 1597D2MTC (blank closed), 1597D2MTC6 (with holes), 1597D2MTCKO (with punch-out holes) and 1597D2MBC (with bus connector), plus the 1597D4MADP bread board and 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
