Hammond 1597DIN4MC53 DIN 4 Closed Top Rail Enclosure, 71 mm Wide

The 1597DIN4MC53 is an Italtronic DIN 4 enclosure from the 1597DM Series with a closed top and closed terminals on both sides. At 71 mm wide it offers space for larger printed circuit boards, terminal blocks and DIN rail mounted electronics behind a closed face.

The enclosure is RAL7035 light grey PPO with a UL94 V-0 flame rating. It snaps together without hardware and mounts to standard 35mm DIN rail using the integrated clip. Base, cover and DIN clip are included with the purchased enclosure.

Nominal dimensions are 3.54 in x 2.8 in x 2.28 in (90 mm x 71 mm x 58 mm) and the shipping weight is 0.11 lbs (0.05 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The drawing lists the DIN 4 terminal accessories 1597D4MTC6 (with holes), 1597D4MTCKO (with punch-out holes), 1597D4MBC (with bus connector) and 1597D4MHSC (terminal inside cover), plus the 1597D4MADP bread board and 1597DINCLIPXT DIN clip. Enclosures in this series can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.) on a quote basis, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t formats.
